IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION
Recommendations
are based on: age of the traveler, areas of the world they will
visit, length of stay, activities during trip, time of year of
travel.
Our list of required and recommended immunizations is provided
to us by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We are updated on a regular basis and receive information about
global outbreaks or threats of disease. Clients should be prepared
to inform our staff about any medical problems, provide the name(s)
of current medications, allergies, or serious reactions to other
vaccines or medications. In most cases:
***VACCINE PROTECTION should be initiated 4-6
weeks prior to departure for the best protection***
WE DO NOT PROVIDE INSURANCE PRE-AUTHORIZATION.
MANY INSURANCE COVERAGES DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO PURCHASE THE NUMBER
OF PILLS YOU WILL NEED FOR YOUR ENTIRE TRIP. YOU SHOULD SPEAK
WITH THEM PRIOR TO FILLING YOUR PRESCRIPTION. IF YOU CANNOT RECEIVE
ALL THE PILLS YOU NEED FROM YOUR INSURANCE, THEN WE RECOMMEND
YOU BUY THE REMAINING AMOUNT YOU WILL NEED IN ORDER TO PREVENT
A LAPSE IN PROTECTION.
