Pneumococcal vaccine
If
received at age 65 or older, only one dose is required. If
you are under 65 then an additional dose is required
in 5 yrs.

45,000 people die as a result and 90% of
those occur in persons >65 years of age.

Vaccines
for flu and pneumonia are available at eight Hillsborough
County Health Department Clinics throughout the county.
(excluding the Palm River or 1105 E. Kennedy locations)
