Environmental Health Services receives a variety
of complaints from the general public. Some involve establishments
regulated (see regulated programs) by the department while
others involve general sanitary conditions (sewage and fly
breeding). If the complaint is determined to be within the
division's jurisdiction, investigations are conducted within
48 working hours of receipt of the complaint.
