JOB OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE ISSUED AS EITHER:

  • OPEN COMPETITIVE OPPORTUNITY: Accept applications from any applicant.

Preference in filling positions will be given to veterans, their spouses and unremarried widow/widower in accordance with Chapter 295-7, Florida Statutes, as amended by Chapter 78-372, Laws of Florida. Applicants claiming veteran's preference are responsible for providing required documentation at the time when submitting application. (FORM DD-214).

The Department of Health only hires United States Citizens and aliens authorized to work in the United States in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
